Doctor's Shoe Repair is a neighborhood shoe repair shop on Gessner Road in Houston. We resole, re-heel and restore boots every day, so we sell the kind we trust: handmade Chelsea, chukka and lace-up boots in real leather and suede — plus handcrafted solid wood furniture.

Why repairable boots

A boot with a stitched or Goodyear-welted sole can be resoled again and again. Glued fashion soles usually can't — that's the difference we look for.

Most of our boots are handmade to order by small workshops, so leather grain and color vary slightly from pair to pair.

What we carry

Chelsea boots — pull-on leather and suede boots for men and women.
Chukka & desert boots — two- and three-eyelet suede and leather boots.
Lace-up boots — cap-toe, moc-toe, service and work boots, many Goodyear welted.
